Is this what they mean by a Dragon Boat Chicken Race??

The Grand Masters is hosting the Annual GMDBC Chicken Race at Lake Sumter Landing from 5pm to 7pm on Friday May, 1, 2026. (Please arrive by 4:30 in your team race uniforms at the Picnic Pavilion near the radio station.)

The Chicken Race is a great opportunity to mix and mingle with dragonboaters from all teams that belong to the Grand Masters Club.  It is a fun event with multiple race-style events including a race where teams need to place a (rubber) chicken into a basket as they cross the finish line.

Racers and their cheering supports are encouraged to attend.  Bring chairs.  Pizza will be provided but beverages are BYOB.
